Remembrances / Rebecca Cherry & Joyce Cherry

In the spring of 2004 Rebecca and Joyce Cherry recorded a beautiful CD of music in Temple Sholom at the suggestion of Rabbi and Cathy Bregman.
The music is a combination of Classical and Jewish themes by eminent composers including John Williams (Schindler's List), Bruch (Kol Nidré), Achron (Hebrew Melody), Rachmaninoff (Vocalise), Barber (Canzone), Fauré (Apres un Reve) and Sinding (Adagio from Concerto in A minor). The album called "Remembrances" is titled after the excerpt from the movie Schindler's List.
Recently Gordon listed the album for sale on CD Baby, one of the largest distributers of independent music on the Internet. Soon the music will also be for sale on iTunes and elsewhere. If you have heard the meditation service on Yom Kippur you will get an idea of the beauty of this music and the spectacular playing. Rebecca and Joyce's playing is magnificent and our Temple's acoustic with our piano cannot be better. The music is available for $15.00 US as a CD or can be downloaded as mp3 files for $9.99 US. Just go to CDBaby.com and type in Rebecca Cherry to find and order the album.
