Jewish Information Classes

Rabbi Bregman and Rabbi Mikelberg offer a Jewish Information Class (JIC) for individuals who are seriously contemplating converting to Judaism. The course, which meets on Monday evenings, runs from September through to June enabling participants to experience a full Jewish calendar year.

The first forty-five minutes of each class is spent learning how to read and understand Hebrew. The next hour and a half of class time includes instruction regarding the Jewish lifecycle, holidays and traditions, Jewish history and culture, the Holocaust, Israel and Torah.

Registration for this class begins in the Spring prior to the beginning of class. If you are interested, please call the synagogue to make an appointment with one of the Rabbis.
