Torah Study

On the first and third Shabbat of each month between 8:30am and 10:00am, Temple Sholom members meet in the synagogue library to actively engage each other in the study of Torah. If you would like to explore the relevance of the weekly parasha (Torah portion) to the world you inhabit, we welcome you to join us in this informal setting. No preparation is required, the group is friendly and refreshments are available.

Downtown Talmud Study

The study of Talumd helps us better understand the issues of the day. Traditional Rabbinic wisdom sheds light on ethics, values and a variety of contemporary concerns.

At noon, on the fourth Tuesday of every month, the Rabbi leads a Talmud study program at the Price Waterhouse Boardroom (seventh floor, 250 Howe St.) which is open to everyone. Just bring your lunch. You don't need any prior experience in order to participate in the lively discussions and debates that ensue when we "talk Talmud."
