Confirmation

We encourage the youth of Temple Sholom to continue their Jewish learning after Bar and Bat Mitzvah by taking courses at TAG, the community's supplementary Jewish High School.

Students who participate in the Confirmation ceremony spend time during the Grade 10 year exploring complex and relevant Jewish issues with the Rabbi. In the spring, on Erev Shavuot, the holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah at Sinai, the Temple Sholom confirmands conduct a special worship service and share their insights about the Ten Commandments.
