Salmon Smoke Off 2025

Words from our clergy

Holy Smokes, We're Gonna Have a Good Time!

Calling all salmon smokers—and those who just love to eat smoked fish!

Join us for Temple Sholom’s first-ever Salmon Smoke Off, an afternoon of friendly competition, delicious food, and community fun. Temple Sholom members are invited to prepare their best smoked salmon creations—any style, any flavour—for tasting and judging by a panel of esteemed experts and event attendees.

Enjoy mouth-watering sides from The Perfect Bite Catering, cast your vote for the “People’s Choice Award,” and celebrate with friends as we crown Temple Sholom’s top smokers.

All net proceeds from the event support the Temple Sholom Half Shekel Fund, helping ensure that everyone in our community can participate fully in synagogue life.
